What we cover (week by week)

Week 1

Diagnosis

Map the actual structural sources of your burnout. Scope creep with no pushback mechanism. Invisible work that does not count in performance reviews. Success metrics that are impossible to meet. We name them precisely.

Week 2

Values

The Schwartz Value Wheel exercise: where is your energy going, where does it actually need to go, what is the gap. You write your one-paragraph decision filter that you use for the next 4 weeks.

Week 3

Boundaries as System Design

Boundaries are not about saying no more often. They are about designing how work reaches you and what you do with it. We build your personal intake system: accept, defer, delegate, or decline, with specific criteria for each.

Week 4

The Conversation You Are Avoiding

Every burnout situation has one conversation behind it that has not happened yet. We identify yours, write the exact script, and role-play it in pairs. Homework: have the actual conversation before week 5.

Week 5

Sustainable Pace

What does a week you can sustain actually look like, in calendar form? Not ideal, sustainable. We build the template week you reference when things start slipping back.

Week 6

The Exit Plan

Where are you in 6 months if things go right? What does "going right" look like specifically? We build your 6-month version of the decision filter and you leave with a concrete plan, not just a feeling.

If you complete weeks 1-3 and do the homework and feel like this is not what you needed, I will refund your $500 in full. No negotiation, no questions. The only condition is that you actually did the work -- showed up, completed the worksheets, engaged in the calls.

About me

I am Adrien Harrison. I spent several years in product roles at tech companies and burned out in the specific way that PMs burn out: doing good work by every external measure and feeling like I was running a fraud the entire time. I eventually figured out that the problem was structural, not personal. I built a framework for addressing it, used it on myself, and now I share it publicly via the Simple Guide To Life newsletter and YouTube channel.

I am not a licensed therapist. I am not selling you peak performance. I am someone who has been where you are and figured out a specific path out. That is the credential that matters here.


Questions

When does the cohort start?

When it fills. I am not running a cohort with 3 people. The minimum is 8. Once 8 spots are reserved, I set a start date and email everyone. The typical lag is 2 to 4 weeks after the cohort fills.

What if I cannot make a live call?

Recordings go out within 24 hours. Missing one call is fine. Missing three makes it hard to get the full value. If your schedule is genuinely unpredictable for 6 weeks, this cohort format is probably not right for you right now.

Is this therapy?

No. I am not a licensed therapist and this is not therapy. If you are dealing with depression, anxiety disorders, or anything that needs clinical support, please see a licensed therapist. This program addresses structural work conditions, not mental health conditions.

Why $500 and not more?

Because this is my first cohort. I have not done this before in this format. You are taking a real risk paying for something without any testimonials from past participants. $500 reflects that. When the first cohort produces results and I have evidence, the price goes up.

What if I work at a big tech company, not a mid-size one?

The structural burnout dynamics at large tech are different but the framework still applies. The ICP I know best is mid-size tech (50-500 employees), so that is who I can help most confidently. If you are at a FAANG and the core problem resonates, reach out before buying and we can assess fit.
